Getting terminated can be a nightmare. Maybe you've just been replaced for no reason you can understand? Or maybe you didn't let yourself get pushed around?
Contractors can, of course, be terminated for good reasons and with respect to the terms in their contracts. Unfortunately, it doesn't usually happen like that.
Sometimes contractors are terminated because they don't cave in to unreasonable demands from clients. Sometimes, clients just want to get you out early when they think they don't need you anymore. Sadly, getting terminated can often initiate payment trouble with your agent about getting your final fee, or perhaps you are terminated when you shouldn't be and you want the full value of the contract?
