Building on previous ContractorCalculator surveys cited in the government’s Make Work Pay: Modernising the Agency Work Regulatory Framework consultation, this research will help inform ContractorCalculator’s formal response, due by 01 May 2026.

- how you are paid, umbrella, PAYE, or limited company
- your experience with IR35 and status determinations
- agency practices, including payment options and restrictions
- umbrella company issues such as deductions, holiday pay, and pensions
- your understanding of rates, payslips, and compliance
