Some of the big banks are reportedly forcing contractors to cut their rates or face termination of their contract.
ContractorCalculator’s view is that swingeing rate cuts across the board are not the way to manage costs effectively. In fact, clients could end up spending more in the longer term, as the more able contractors find better paid work elsewhere, leaving less productive contractors to finish the work.
