The Revenue has confirmed that it will be publishing its internal guidance for staff on IR35, according to the ICAEW Tax Faculty.
Under the Open Government initiative, the Revenue releases most of its internal guidance as part of the Inland Revenue Manuals series. These Manuals are available to all at Tax Enquiry Offices and can currently be purchased as part of a number of electronic publishing packages. The Manuals will be available live on the Revenue's website from the Summer.
The guidance on IR35 will form part of a new Employment Status Manual and should be available around September 2000.
