PCG and arctic systems at high court 16 March 2005

The High Court hearing of the landmark Arctic Systems S660 case will begin tomorrow 16 March 2005 at 10.30 in Court 59 in front of Mr Justice Park.

The case is being funded by the Professional Contractors Group (PCG), with the generous support of James Kessler QC, the Federation of Small Businesses, PCG members, Berg Kaprow Lewis, JSA and members of the public.

The hearing is expected to last three days.

The original settlements legislation dates back to the 1930s and was subsequently updated first in 1988, when it became the more familiar Section 660. It was changed again in 2005 when it was updated and rewritten into its current form as Section 624 of the Income Tax (Trading and Other Income) Act (ITTOIA) 2005.
