Have you worked via an umbrella company in the last 20 years? If so, did you get paid all your correct holiday pay, either during the contract or after it finished? If not, you may still be able to claim on a no-win-no-fee basis via a group litigation run by a team of lawyers called Contractors4Justice (C4J Ltd).
Under current case law, decided by the Supreme Court, where the company you worked for didn't pay you correctly and cannot show they informed you accurately about your pay or tried to obscure or make unclear the holiday pay you were due, you may be entitled to claim.
An average claim of £5,000 is expected for each person per year.
Is this you?

How will the holiday pay claims work?
After application, Contractors4Justice will ask you for information and assess the validity of your claim.
The claim is on a no-win, no-fee basis. You will only be charged if the litigation is successful, which will be a percentage of your successful claim amount.
The entry cost of making a High Court run into tens of thousands – and in the High Court, the loser pays the winner's costs. Hence, contractors are only able to access justice realistically via group action.
C4J will fund all the costs of group action, and contractors pay nothing if the case is unsuccessful. Due to ATE insurance.
The current plan is to gather the claims and start action in the near future. So, make sure you get your claims in now.
The claims process
- An advisor from C4J will contact you.
- You provide relevant documents.
- Claim is assessed for validity.
