Is contracting for everyone? Are there some people who you know would make good contractors?

According to a recent study, nearly half the UK workforce would prefer to be self-employed? And we understand them, because we know what a good way to live it provides.

But should all these people go contractiing? Or is it only for certain people? We think it's right for anyone who is willing to take up the challenge, but you might think that some special personal qualities are required. Strangely, our Government does not like us to go contracting, and thinks that we must be suffering for it, so there is a diversity of opinion.

So is contracting for everybody? Let us know what you think.

The reality is that there is no such thing as a job for life anymore and people are now taking things into their own hands and realising that they can control their own destiny. Bring on the entrepreneurial spirit!
