When I first started contracting 8 years ago I fell for every trick in the book. With 8 years experience I can now spot a charlatan a mile away. I'm polite, firm, and fair with the cowboys, but they don't go on the Xmas card list. there's one I used twice before, and he is a pretty decent chap.
