Welcome to the April 2008 edition of our Contractor NewsCast. Lots of developments in the last month for contractors: The Budget revealed the Government saw sense in delaying their unworkable Income Shifting proposals. Whilst the agency workers bill still threatens our livelihoods, last Friday we learnt intentions to exclude high tech contractors. Also, some refreshingly straight talking from David Drew, Labour MP, who seeks to change ways in which small business and contractors are taxed.
