James Abbott heads up Baker Watkin's tax department and often speaks on freelancer / contractor tax matters. He has his own portfolio of contractor clients.

Baker Watkin are PCG Accredited Accountants and UK200 Group members based in Hertfordshire.

James Abbott is a Chartered Accountant, Chartered Certified Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser. A tax specialist, he became Baker Watkin's Tax Partner in 2006. His broad experience means that he can also advise contractors on other tax matters outside the norm. He also sits on the UKGroup Executive and Membership Services Committees.
